One thing I like to tell my clients is to make sure the house is decluttered – if there is a flat surface make sure to take everything off of it (counters, tables, dressers and nightstands). Clear the clutter for the camera. Buyers see your home first online, so we want to be sure that the images they see are not overwhelmed with personal belongings.

Another tip to get your home sold this spring is to clean up your gardens. A simple gesture of laying fresh mulch and planting some annuals for a pop of color goes a long way in making a good first impression.

By simply changing out the bulky winter comforters on your bed to a light-weight duvet in a light color pallet and switching the curtains to sheers will have a dramatic affect on allowing the natural light in and bringing that spring atmosphere indoors.
